Do we need a credit card or a contract?

No. Opening an account is free and doesn't need a credit card, and there's no monthly fee or subscription to cancel after the party.

How does our committee get the money?

Card payments are collected for your group and sent to your group's bank account by bank transfer once a month, with a final payout after the event. If you need money sooner, you can ask for an expedited payout for a small fee.

Can families still pay with cash or a check?

Yes. Mark cash and check payments as paid, so one list shows who's registered and who's paid, however they paid.

Who decides on refunds?

Your committee sets its own refund policy, and families ask you first from your site. Refunds go back to the original card. When a payment is fully refunded we don't charge our platform fee on it; the card processor keeps its processing fee.

Can we use it again next year?

Copy Event sets up next year's party from this one — tickets, volunteer shifts, sponsor levels and pages — with the dates moved. People and money don't carry over.
